Job summary

Eden Capital Careers seeks a licensed psychologist to join a correctional facility team in Kansas. The role involves comprehensive psychological services, assessments, and individualized treatment planning to support inmates in challenging environments.

Responsibilities include conducting screenings, coordinating with medical staff, and providing crisis intervention as needed. Onsite work, strong interprofessional communication, and adherence to OFCCP/EEOC regulations are expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychologist with a valid state license.
• Experience in a clinical or correctional setting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and counseling techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments through clinical interviews and records review.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, mental health providers, and other healthcare professionals for integrated care.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing evaluation.
• Perform regular rounds in housing areas to evaluate inmate adjustment and mental health needs.
• Apply counseling theories and techniques to provide effective treatments.
• Deliver crisis intervention strategies to support inmates in distress.
• Engage with staff across departments to understand behavioral changes in inmates.
