Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Site Security Officer for our Sedalia, MO site. You’ll direct visitors, monitor CCTV, patrol areas, and document incidents as part of an on-site security team.

Ideal candidates have a high school degree, security-related experience, CPR/First Aid training, and strong communication skills. A background and drug screen are required, with CTPAT/regulatory compliance experience a plus, and fitness for duty as essential.

Qualifications

• High School degree or higher.
• Security, law enforcement or military related skills required.
• C-TPAT and/or Regulatory Compliance experience is a plus.
• Physical fitness is essential; martial arts/defensive skills desirable.
• CPR / AED / First Aid Training.
• Excellent oral and written communication, issue resolution, negotiation, collaboration, and teamwork.
• Pre-employment background, motor vehicle record check and drug screen required.
• Pass state-required training or licensing when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Direct visitors and control site access across entry posts.
• Monitor CCTV, security, and fire suppression systems.
• Patrol and secure areas inside and outside the facility.
• Document security and safety incidents.
• Administer first aid and act as first responder in crises.
• Respond quickly on foot to locations throughout the facility.
• Assist with CTPAT compliance if applicable.
