Job summary

Fusion Incorporated in Willoughby, OH is seeking a Controls Engineer to design and develop electrical panels, PLC, HMI and motion control systems for our automated machinery. You will translate customer requirements into robust electrical solutions and integrate robotics and safety systems.

As part of the team, you will plan panels and electrical schematics using DraftSight and AutoCAD, manage projects across multiple machines, and collaborate with Mechanical Project Engineers and technicians to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• AutoCAD or DraftSight experience in designing electrical panels and schematics.
• Proficiency programming Allen Bradley and Keyence PLCs and HMIs; Fanuc/Epson robot programming.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical panels and schematics; plan machine controls.
• Develop and integrate PLC, HMI, and motion control programs.
• Collaborate with Mechanical Project Engineers and technicians on specs.
• Travel to customer facilities for troubleshooting and installation.
• Provide technical support to Field Service and Development teams.
