Job summary

Panel Control Integrators in Ohio is seeking a Field Automation Engineer to perform hands-on installation, programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning of industrial control systems at customer sites.

You will work with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and related hardware, translate customer requirements into field designs, and ensure safety, code compliance, and on-time delivery while coordinating with the Field Engineering Manager and customer teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on field automation experience.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and drawings.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, and commission field control systems.
• Configure PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs per specifications.
• Coordinate with Field Engineering Manager and customers.
• Ensure safety and QA/QC compliance; document installations.
