Job summary

Onward Search is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to support on-site operations for a leading engineering, design and manufacturing company. You will drive electrical controls development, upgrades, and support for complex equipment.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, ladder logic/RS Logix, and experience with Proface, PanelView, and PLC programming. You will troubleshoot on-site, work with suppliers, document designs, and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with relevant experience.
• Experience with ladder logic programming and RS Logix 500/5000.
• Strong understanding of electrical wiring diagrams, P&ID and process diagrams.
• Experience with Pro-face, PanelView and PLC programming.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and testing of electrical and control systems for new products and process improvements.
• Manage control system upgrades, process development, and documentation for equipment remanufacturing.
• Provide technical support and on-site troubleshooting for field and customer issues.
• Interface with suppliers to ensure quality, timely material transitions, and supplier development.
• Document control system design, validation, and support activities to meet standards.
