Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a RTX company, is seeking a Contracts Manager (Onsite) based in Rockford, IL to support the P&C Mil Spares EPS aftermarket business. This role requires strong negotiation, writing skills, and knowledge of government contracting.

You will generate, review, and negotiate complex proposals, ensure FAR/DFAR compliance, and coordinate with internal teams. U.S. citizenship required; prior experience with contracts and proposals in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree with 8+ years of related experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with government contracting, including FAR 12 and FAR 15 regulations.
• Experience with contract formation, including NDAs, MOUs, and MOAs.
• Experience with proposal compliance reviews, terms and conditions review, and contract negotiations.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Generate, interpret, and manage complex proposals and contracts.
• Ensure adherence to government contracting regulations (FAR/DFAR).
• Review contractual documents for compliance and cost control.
• Advise and represent the contracts organization on requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support negotiations and execute agreements.
