Job summary

SOC LLC in Tucson, AZ seeks a Production Electrical Engineer for a contract role on-site. The engineer will resolve production issues, troubleshoot complex hardware, and own issues from start to finish, with strong cross‑functional communication.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with digital, analog, RF, and mixed‑signal hardware and lab test equipment, plus an active Interim or Secret clearance and the ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Active Interim or Secret security clearance.
• Hands-on experience with lab test equipment and debugging complex boards.
• Ability to interpret schematics and BoMs.

Responsibilities

• Resolve production and supplier-related electrical issues and drive corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot circuit cards, electro-mechanical systems, and hardware.
• Diagnose failures with oscilloscopes, analyzers, and test gear.
• Develop and own troubleshooting plans through final resolution.
• Communicate plans and status to cross-functional teams.
• Maintain technical drawings and engineering documentation.
