Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Professional proficiency in English and All Spoken Language.
• Ability to accurately provide consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Language.
• Successful completion of language and interpreting proficiency evaluations.
• Submission of a current résumé in English during the application process.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education/experience.
• Basic computer and technology proficiency.
• Ability to travel reliably to onsite assignments.
• Health and immunization requirements may apply for certain assignments.
• Background, security, fingerprinting or drug screening may be required.
• Agreement to confidentiality, privacy, and professional ethics requirements.
• One or more years of professional interpreting experience.
• Medical, legal, community, educational, or social-services interpreting experience.
• Relevant interpreter training, credentials, or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and All Spoken Language during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with Propio and client confidentiality, privacy, security, and assignment rules.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA and client requirements.
• Maintain professionalism with clients, patients, and healthcare professionals.
