Job summary

Connexion Systems & Engineering Inc. seeks a Facilities Engineer for a 3-month contract, onsite in Watertown, MA. The role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment to ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will lead repairs, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and changeovers, with SOP and qualification protocol support. Strong electrical/mechanical skills and GMP familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• GMP experience required.
• Engineering degree or equivalent apprenticeship/experience preferred.
• 3+ years in advanced electrical/mechanical repair in manufacturing.
• Electrical/Plumbing/HVAC/PLC licensure or extensive life science industry experience.
• Experience reading P&IDs and working with CAD tools is desired.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems, replace or repair systems, parts, test and adjust to safe operation.
• Perform routine rounds to monitor equipment and facilities.
• Assist with setup of machinery/equipment per specs.
• Coordinate maintenance actions including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic tasks.
• Oversee vendor/contractor repairs and calibrations.
• Support GMP investigations and CAPAs.
