Job summary

Specialist Staffing Group seeks an Equipment Engineer II to support onsite manufacturing operations in Massachusetts. The role focuses on electromechanical fixtures and equipment selection, installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance, with cost-effective solutions.

The engineer will study performance, improve uptime, and provide technical support to repair and process engineering teams, while writing preventive maintenance schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 1–4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• CAD proficiency and mechanical design experience.
• Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Study equipment performance and reliability to increase uptime.
• Provide technical support to repair and process engineering teams.
• Define and write preventive maintenance schedules.
• Deliver projects on new technologies from design through implementation.
