The role emphasizes safety, OSHA compliance, and a strong relationship with the Owner while coordinating with the Project Manager. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in commercial construction supervision, OSHA 30, CPR, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.
• CPR certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Knowledge of all trades involved in construction projects.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving capabilities.
• Ethical behavior and integrity in all situations.
• Ability to multitask and work in a team environment.
• Bachelor of Science in Construction or related degree; Certified Professional Constructor and/or CCM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with developing the overall schedule for each project.
• Assist the Project Manager in buying out the budget and utilizing the WBL Buy-Out Process.
• Plan, schedule and manage daily operations including subcontractors, deliveries and on-site work.
• Monitor site conditions to ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
• Maintain weekly safety meetings and submit reports.
• Conduct weekly coordination/planning meetings with subcontractors.
• Use PMS to maintain a Daily Log; manage RFIs and submittals.
• Manage and approve timesheets for self and direct reports.
• Be on-site at all times or arrange for on-site coverage.
• Develop and maintain a short interval schedule in PMS each week.
• Review and approve subcontractor work orders.
• Report to General Superintendent or VP of Field Operations.
