Wurzel Builders is seeking a Project Superintendent in Dallas, Texas. The role involves scheduling construction activities, managing onsite operations, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and to high standards.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in commercial construction, hold relevant certifications, and be proficient in project management software. The position is full-time, with typical hours from Monday to Friday.
The Superintendent must schedule construction activities to ensure each assigned project is completed on schedule and constructed to the highest quality standard in accordance with plans and specs. They must manage construction activities to ensure all work is performed safely and within OSHA guidelines. They also must manage a relationship with the Owner to ensure communication is good and that their questions and concerns are addressed timely.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full‑time exempt position. Typical workdays and hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some weekend work may be required. The work location is on the jobsite.
Reports To: This position reports to the General Superintendent or VP of Field Operations (depending on division).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continually required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms for long periods of time. The employee is also required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, and smell.
