Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation in the Dallas–Fort Worth market seeks an experienced Superintendent to lead all on-site construction for ground-up commercial projects valued at $10M–$20M. You will drive safety, quality, and schedule, coordinating field operations and supervising subcontractors and field staff.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on leadership, strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, and the ability to read drawings and contract documents.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as Superintendent in a commercial GC.
• Experience managing ground-up commercial projects valued $10M–$20M.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors while maintaining schedule and quality.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office and scheduling tools.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site construction from mobilization to completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedule with the PM.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors and field staff for efficient execution.
• Ensure work aligns with contract docs, specifications and quality standards.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance on site.
• Conduct daily site inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and daily planning.
• Coordinate inspections with authorities and site visits by owner/architect/engineer.
• Monitor manpower, equipment and material deliveries to maintain productivity and schedule.
• Review RFIs, submittals, punch lists and closeout activities.
• Maintain daily reports and jobsite documentation.
