Job summary

Cherokee is seeking a Project Superintendent to manage complex construction projects from inception to completion within budget and safety guidelines. You will lead field crews, coordinate with the Project Manager and General Superintendent, and ensure proper staffing, scheduling, and equipment delivery.

The role emphasizes strong communication, prioritizing safety, and mentoring site teams. An emphasis on meeting deadlines and maintaining accurate records is required.

Qualifications

• Five years field construction experience.
• At least two years in job oversight.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct communications with Project Manager daily.
• Staff jobs with qualified employees.
• Attend site safety and task meetings daily.
• Coordinate PMs and RM with the Operations team.
• Coordinate delivery of materials and equipment to sites.
• Respond to schedule changes and emergencies.
• Conduct annual employee reviews and mentor field staff.
