Actalent seeks a Project Engineer for our Kansas City, MO on-site team to support the successful execution of construction projects. This role focuses on documentation, schedules, and communications to maintain project alignment and quality.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in CM or engineering and 3+ years in design-build or industrial construction, with strong Procore and coordination skills. On-site work emphasizes safety and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of design-build and/or industrial construction experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of bidding, budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Procore.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current construction documents, addenda, ASIs, and proposals.
• Manage project information within Procore and internal systems.
• Record and issue meeting minutes for clear communication.
• Update schedules weekly and support field staff.
• Issue subcontracts and purchase orders with accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with superintendents, subcontractors, designers, and consultants.
• Analyze, manage, and mitigate project risks proactively.
• Manage submittal logs, RFIs, and other project controls.
• Promote safety culture across all project activities.
• Contribute to process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
