Robertson & Olson Construction, Inc. in Camas, WA is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager by preparing bid packages, contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, submittals, and RFIs.

The PE will help with scheduling, procurement, shop drawing reviews, cost reviews and project close-out. An ideal candidate has a four-year degree in a construction-related field or equivalent experience, and the role offers a competitive salary with benefits and room for advancement.

Qualifications

• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in high pressure environments.
• Experience communicating with clients, architects and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Procure shop drawings, samples and submittals per specifications.
• Ensure current plans and specifications are issued to all project subcontractors, vendors, and on-site staff.
• Coordinate material releases and assist expediting deliveries.
• Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers regarding schedule dates and report to project team.
• Maintain procedures for obtaining information, approvals, and processing submittals.
• Attend meetings and distribute minutes.
• Track RFIs, ASIs, Submittals, Addenda and project costs.
• Submit as-built drawings, guarantees, warranties, and operating instructions at close-out.
