Job summary

Flint Hills Resources Pipeline and Terminals is seeking an Inspector/Construction Manager to lead on-site activities for cleaning, inspection, and repair projects involving storage tanks and pipeline stations. You will ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective execution while coordinating with contractors and internal teams.

This role demands at least 80% field time, extensive travel, and the ability to develop detailed work plans, administer daily permits, and provide quality control to align

Qualifications

• 3+ years in project planning, jobsite safety management, contractor coordination and oversight in an industrial setting.
• Experience with API 650 tank construction.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willing to travel up to 75–90%, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute project plans developed by the FHR Projects Group ensuring safe, responsible, and cost-effective execution.
• Support cleaning, inspection, and repair of storage tanks and related equipment.
• Develop detailed written work plans and procedures for site execution.
• Administer daily safe work permits to contractors and set expectations on hazards and risk mitigation.
• Provide quality control oversight to ensure work meets drawings, specifications, and business expectations.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors and site personnel for safe, timely, high-quality execution.
• Maintain and issue project turnover documentation (red-lined drawings, OQ records, inspection docs, change requests).
• Spend at least 80% of time in the field, including nights, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed.
