Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Senior Project Manager for onsite leadership and construction management oversight on a large-scale project in Arlington, VA. The role functions as the Agency Construction Manager and Owners Representative, coordinating with the General Contractor, inspectors, and owner stakeholders to ensure progress, compliance, and timely resolution of issues.

Qualifications

• 1015 years of project management experience in construction or related fields.
• Experience with federal construction projects is preferred.
• Background in program management and working within larger program frameworks.
• Experience working as an Owners Representative or Agency Construction Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily onsite oversight of construction activities and maintain a highly visible presence in the field.
• Conduct multiple site walks each day to monitor progress and verify that contractors and subcontractors are completing scheduled activities.
• Provide hands‑on management and coordination of the General Contractor and subcontractors to maintain alignment with project goals.
• Monitor work for compliance with project plans, specifications, contract documents, schedule requirements, and owner expectations.
• Oversee the delivery, staging, coordination, and installation of products, materials, and equipment to support efficient field operations.
• Identify construction issues, delays, or deficiencies and work with the appropriate stakeholders to drive timely resolution.
