Job summary

MSTI is seeking a Construction Manager II for onsite work in Oak Ridge, TN. You will oversee daily field activities, act as the main contact with contractors, and coordinate with engineering to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to plans and schedules.

Qualifications include a construction management degree (or related), U.S. Citizenship, and experience in industrial/government DOE environments; DOE Q clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience supporting construction projects in industrial, commercial, government, or DOE environments preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to construction safety and experience with established safety programs and procedures.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and submittal processes.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• DOE Q clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field oversight and field execution on projects.
• Serve as primary liaison between contractors, engineering, and project leadership.
• Ensure work is performed safely, in accordance with plans and specifications.
• Monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to schedules and reports.
• Coordinate submittals and approvals with engineering.
