Job summary

Woolpert seeks a Construction Manager Intern to work on-site with our construction management team on aviation and/or road and bridge projects. Projects may include bridge overlays/replacements, highway paving, or airport construction, with duties spanning inspections, reporting, and field coordination.

This internship targets Civil Engineering or construction management students and offers hands-on experience, exposure to drones, surveying, testing, and cross-discipline collaboration.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university, preferably with at least sophomore status.
• Pursuing a Civil Engineering or construction management degree (or related field).
• Have a general interest in construction management / inspection.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Have a good attitude and be self-motivated.
• Exceptional multitasking and time management skills.
• Ability to analyze and program independently and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of an industry leading construction management team.
• Assist inspectors with project and material inspections for codes and plans.
• Gain real-world experience on actual projects alongside experienced team members.
• Assist on a variety of projects spanning clients and disciplines.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subs, and clients.
• Produce daily and weekly reports.
• Work with current tech including drones, surveying, and testing equipment.
