Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an Equipment Mechanic to support day-to-day maintenance of Blue Hat equipment. You will perform routine and non-routine maintenance, troubleshoot on site, and document repairs per manufacturer specs to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires 2+ years of mechanic experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and strong communication and teamwork. Travel is typically not required, with opportunities to advance within the equipment family.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent (Required).
• Apprentice Program or Vocational training on equipment repair (Preferred).
• In lieu of the above requirements, relevant experience will be considered.
• 2+ years mechanic or maintenance operations experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventative maintenance, diagnostic inspections, and repairs on construction equipment per manufacturer specifications.
• Troubleshoots equipment breakdowns on site or by phone with field operations.
• Documents and enters data for maintenance and repairs accurately.
• Communicates with internal/external partners via phone and email for maintenance questions.
• Orders parts for repairs using the work order system and verifies manufacturer requirements.
• Receives, organizes, stores, and distributes equipment parts and supplies.
