Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an Equipment Mechanic to perform routine and non-routine maintenance on day-to-day equipment operations. The role involves maintenance per manufacturer specs, troubleshooting on site, and timely communication with internal teams to ensure equipment availability.

Responsibilities include documenting work, ordering parts, and managing supplies, with an emphasis on safe, efficient maintenance and clear data entry across the system.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent is required.
• Apprentice program or vocational training preferred.
• 2+ years of mechanic or maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventive maintenance, diagnostic inspections, and repairs on construction equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Troubleshoots equipment on site or by phone with field operations.
• Documents and data entries for maintenance and repairs.
• Communicates with internal and external partners via calls and emails for maintenance questions.
• Orders parts for repairs using the work order system and manufacturer specs.
• Receives, organizes, stores, and distributes equipment parts and supplies.
