Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks an Equipment Mechanic to provide routine and non-routine maintenance on day-to-day Blue Hat Equipment operations. You will diagnose, repair, and service equipment per manufacturer specifications, documenting work and communicating with field operations.

The role requires attention to safety, ability to read manuals, and strong teamwork to support project sites across our Missouri footprint. Travel is typically minimal; you’ll work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent is required.
• Apprentice program or vocational training is preferred.
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on construction equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns on site or by phone with field operations.
• Document and enter maintenance and repair data accurately.
• Communicate with internal/external partners regarding maintenance questions.
• Order parts using the work order system per manufacturer specs.
• Receive, organize, store, and distribute equipment parts and supplies.
