Job summary

MGAC is seeking an on-site specialist in San Antonio, TX to support a large, multi-phased project. The role emphasizes documentation control, cost tracking, scheduling, and regular interaction with owners, architects, contractors, and vendors.

You will assist in invoices, PO reviews, and monthly client reports while maintaining meticulous records. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in construction or project controls, a related degree, and proficiency with Procore, MS Project, CAD, and Adobe

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred; relevant experience considered.
2+ years of experience in construction, project controls, accounting, or a related field preferred.
Basic understanding of cost tracking, scheduling, estimating, or document control.
Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore), Microsoft Project, Adobe tools, or CAD is a plus.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

Coordinate documentation for a large, multi-phased project and maintain accurate financial and project records.
Assist with invoices, purchase orders, financial commitments, and supporting documentation to the client’s internal accounting team.
Maintain organized project files, drawings, meeting notes, change orders, and progress reports.
Coordinate schedules, meetings, and calendars; prepare meeting notes as needed.
Support development of monthly client reports with data validation and cross-team collaboration.
Communicate with owners, architects, contractors, and vendors to support project activities.
Assist in general project coordination and team communication to remove barriers to success.
Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
