Job summary

Clark Construction in San Diego is seeking an early-career Compliance Analyst to oversee project compliance across a diverse portfolio. You will work with a dedicated team to enforce wage laws, prepare CPRs, and ensure proper wage payments to craft workers.

The role offers growth within the Project Controls and Compliance department, with travel to local job sites and a strong emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) preferred, or similar relevant work experience.
• Highly motivated individual with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Careful attention to detail and reliability of output.
• Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with federal and state contracting, labor regulations, and FAR regulations a plus.
• Bilingual with Spanish language preferred

Responsibilities

• Enforce compliance with federal, state, and local prevailing wage laws, as well as union and PLA requirements.
• Generate, certify, and submit all CPRs for Clark craft employees and subcontractors.
• Manage all prevailing wage related document collection and review for Clark and trade partners.
• Cross-check payroll submissions against project documents to ensure proper wage payments.
• Collaborate with project teams and leadership on process improvements and issue resolution.
• Assist with complex prevailing wage issues and investigations with third parties.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with access around sensitive information.
• Promote economic opportunity by meeting worker utilization and small business subcontracting goals.
• Resolve internal audit report findings promptly.
• Manage project start-up and close-out for compliance.
• Travel to one or more local project sites as required.
• Perform other compliance duties as needed
