RTX is seeking an onsite Component Engineer in Tucson, AZ to support electrical component selections and verification data. You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to drive standard parts usage and mitigate obsolescence while engaging in the full lifecycle from development to production.

The role requires a STEM degree and hands-on circuit design experience. A DoD-related background and familiarity with board layouts are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field by start date.
• Experience in circuit design, circuit analysis, or PCB design through projects or work.
• Experience in one or more areas listed is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support component engineering to select robust parts and drive standardization.
• Interface with internal stakeholders and suppliers to assemble risk and verification data.
• Contribute to lifecycle reviews from development to production.
