Job summary

BD is seeking an Analyst I, Complaint Investigation Specialist to join our quality team in Covington, GA. You will investigate product complaints, perform laboratory testing, and document findings to support regulatory compliance and product quality.

In this role you will collaborate with manufacturing, PLM, and QA, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely closure of investigations while upholding GMP/GLP requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field.
• 1–3 years in a regulated medical device, pharma, or similar industry.
• Experience with technical documentation, lab testing, data analysis, and quality systems.
• Working knowledge of FDA, ISO 13485, GMP, GLP, and complaint handling.
• Excel proficiency including PivotTables and lookup functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
• Authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complaint investigations for UCC and OEM products, ensuring timely, thorough, compliant resolutions.
• Perform GMP/GLP testing and analyze results per quality system requirements.
• Analyze data and technical information to identify root causes and support conclusions.
• Document investigations and test results accurately per FDA, ISO, and internal standards.
• Manage complaint records and ensure timely progression and closure.
• Provide technical support for product quality issues and escalation of events.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, PLM, suppliers, and QA partners.
• Prepare, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment safely and in compliance.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and management.
• Maintain onsite presence to support testing, training, and issue resolution.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality system enhancements.
