Job summary

The Low Voltage/I&C Field Engineer will join the Commissioning department for Hoffman Construction Company and report to the Commissioning Manager. The role focuses on electrical coordination issues and onsite commissioning quality control, with the position based fully on project site in Boise, ID.

Salary is $85,000 - $120,000 DOE + incentives, with extensive collaboration among design professionals, clients, subcontractors, and craftspeople to ensure safe and effective startup readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of project commissioning management experience required.
• Specific experience in industrial/hi-tech semiconductor manufacturing projects is required.
• Education background in materials and methods of construction.

Responsibilities

• Verify electrical system installations and perform testing.
• Ensure all systems are ready to operate safely and all precautions are in place.
• Interface between trade managers and subcontractors to coordinate startups.
• Organize and facilitate training of client personnel in operations/maintenance.
• Act as the technical advisor at the onsite field construction office.
• Other duties as assigned.
