Job summary

Hoffman Construction is seeking a High Purity Field Commissioning Engineer for a Boise, ID project. You will lead the commissioning team, coordinate with design teams, clients, and subcontractors, and drive startup readiness and safety compliance onsite.

You will manage startups, QA/QC, and documentation while coordinating with mechanical, electrical, and low voltage teams. Strong problem-solving and communication are essential to success in this field role.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of all aspects of Commissioning.
• Bachelor level engineering or construction mgmt degree or equivalent field experience.
• 5+ years in project commissioning management.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management to keep subcontractors' startup dates on schedule.
• Review systems requirements and startup predecessors/ successors.
• Implement and manage the QA/QC Program; review subcontractor QA/QC Plans.
