Heatcraft Refrigeration Products in Stone Mountain, GA, is hiring a Commercial Engineering Supervisor for a 100% onsite role. The position leads a mechanical engineering team from design to production, coordinating with design, process, and quality colleagues to hit milestones and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will review complex specifications, apply DFMA principles, and mentor team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering preferred.
• 5+ years related experience; refrigeration/HVAC preferred.
• Strong leadership with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced design techniques, tools, and DFMA principles for precision plans and models.
• Practical application of engineering science and technology; analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in collaboration with design, process, production, quality, and reliability teams.
• Oversee project schedules and technical execution to meet goals and milestones.
• Ensure engineering activities adhere to company policies, safety, and regulations.
• Review and create design specifications for complex components and systems.
• Analyze design problems using engineering and mathematical principles.
• Make design changes and prepare preliminary sketches for drafters.
• Consult with engineers on design specs, manufacturing, legal, safety, and government requirements.
• Lead, mentor, evaluate performance, and develop team members.
• Analyze methods to meet performance, time, and cost goals using DFMA.
