Job summary

Concord in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Collections Representative to contact borrowers with past-due accounts and secure payment commitments. You will negotiate repayment plans and document all activity in the servicing system, while ensuring compliance with FDCPA, FCRA, and CFPB guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of collections or contact center experience.
• Knowledge of FDCPA, FCRA, and CFPB guidelines is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency with loan servicing platforms or CRM systems; able to learn proprietary software quickly.
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to manage a high volume of accounts.

Responsibilities

• Contact borrowers via inbound and outbound calls to address past-due accounts and secure payment commitments.
• Negotiate repayment plans and other arrangements in line with policy and regulations.
• Document all account activity and borrower interactions in the loan servicing system.
• Adhere to FDCPA, FCRA, CFPB guidelines and related regulations.
• Identify accounts needing supervisor review or hardship assistance and escalate as needed.
• Meet or exceed personal performance metrics like contact rates and promises to pay.
• Collaborate with teammates to resolve complex account issues.
