Carrington Mortgage Services in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Collateral Analyst to manage collateral file reporting and ensure data accuracy across custodians. You will analyze status, resolve exceptions, and prepare ongoing reports for senior management, using Excel and Visio to support data-driven decisions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of collateral or data analysis experience; mortgage-related certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years related experience in collateral, report development, data analysis, mortgage loss mitigation, and/or curing documentation.
• Final certification and re-pooling experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Audit loan-level collateral file documentation, exceptions, and inventory across custodians through analysis and reconciliation.
• Independently resolve/correct exceptions related to missing/incorrect/unrecorded documents in collateral files.
• Act as point of contact for pool and collateral level exception resolution.
• Provide training support to team and business processes.
• Track and monitor file location and movement using database systems.
• Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly status reporting of pools, collateral files, exceptions, and movement.
