Axelon Services Corporation is seeking a CNC Programmer/Manufacturing Engineer for Bangor, ME. The role involves generating and maintaining CNC programs using Mastercam, Siemens NX, or Esprit 2000, with multi-axis capabilities, and verifying programs with Vericut on the shop floor.

You will train operators, support engineers during startups, and lead process improvements to enhance safety, quality, cost, and delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or HS diploma with 2+ years in manufacturing/ops.
• Minimum 2 additional years of manufacturing or operations experience.

Responsabilidades

• Generate and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam, Siemens NX, Esprit 2000 or other software, including multi-axis milling, turning, and/or grinding.
• Verify new CNC programs prior to release on the shop floor using Vericut.
• Provide CNC-related support to Manufacturing Engineers and operator training during new/rebuilt machine startup and/or process improvements.
• Provide daily operator support in the form of CNC programming and troubleshooting support to the shop floor.
• Support and implement tooling and fixturing requirements for CNC machine tools.
• Generate and support workstation instructions (methods) for CNC-related issues.
• Initiate and lead process improvement projects to improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Provide effective communication to appropriate team members when needed.
• Work effectively as an individual and in a team-based environment in a matrixed organization.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while embracing and driving positive change inside and outside the organization when appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university (or a high school diploma/GED and at least 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience).
• Minimum 2 additional years of experience in manufacturing or operations.
