Job summary

Boeing Commercial Airplanes seeks skilled Machine Repair Mechanics to maintain and repair essential equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and upgrade mechanical hardware. You will also communicate with customers about repair progress, parts procurement, and estimated completion times.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting NC/CNC machinery, reviewing drawings, and working with a range of plant equipment, including robotics and modular assembly systems, in a 100% onsite role

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a CNC machine repair mechanic, manufacturing building systems mechanic, or general equipment repair mechanic.
• Willing to work at heights up to 125 feet above ground level and pass Fall Protection Training.
• Willing to work overtime based on business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions on all types of factory machinery including CNC/NC tools and controllers, gearboxes, generators and accessories using various test equipment.
• Develop maintenance procedures when documentation is not available and devise tools to facilitate work.
• Obtain job assignments from data systems, management or engineers.
• Review and interpret work orders, tie-ins, manuals, and drawings; communicate with production to determine repairs needed for production readiness.
• Obtain and analyze drawings, hydraulic schematics and specifications for preventive and predictive maintenance inspections.
