Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology and graduation from an accredited MT/MLS program.
• Certification as MT/MLS (AMT or ASCP) with licensure within 90 days of hire.
• State licensure if required by law.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic/analytic testing of specimens. Interprets, documents and reports test results.
• Performs quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Complies with good laboratory practice and regulatory requirements.
• Performs projects as assigned and serves as a resource to staff and clinical teammates.
• Within scope of job, uses critical thinking and can work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
