Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Medical Technologist for the Leprino Building in Aurora, CO. The role performs diagnostic testing on patient specimens across laboratory sections, with a night shift and full-time schedule.

Responsibilities include quality control, instrument maintenance, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate holds a MT/MLS license, and is certified by AMT/ASCP or equivalent with state licensure if required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and graduation from an accredited Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist program.
• Certification must be MT/MLS by AMT or ASCP or equivalent; state licensure if required.
• Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic/analytic testing and reports results.
• Performs quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Adheres to good laboratory practice and regulatory requirements.
• Completes assigned projects and serves as a resource to staff as needed.
• Maintains ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
