Job summary

United Business Bank in San Francisco is hiring a CSR I (Client Service Representative I) to provide in-person and remote-assisted paying and receiving services, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and wires. This onsite role balances daily transactions and assists clients with account problems and product inquiries.

You will help customers with bookkeeping and questions about services, and contribute to cross-selling efforts while performing clerical duties under branch leadership.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Teller and Cash Handling Operations procedures. Basic understanding of banking products, services and operations.
• Minimum of 1-year cash handling or teller experience in the financial services industry.
• Good communication skills.
• Professional appearance, dress and attitude.
• Good math skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office software package.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier's checks, stop payments, and wires for clients in person, by phone, by mail, and online banking.
• Balance each day's transactions and verify cash totals.
• Assist clients with bookkeeping and checking account problems; answer questions about Bank products and services.
• Actively cross-sell the Bank's products and services.
• Perform assigned clerical tasks and support Branch Manager and Client Service Manager as needed.
