Job summary

Takco, Inc. is seeking skilled Equipment Operators to work onsite across southeast locations. You will operate heavy civil construction machinery to support site development, grading, utilities installation, and roadway work.

This role requires accurate judgment, adherence to safety rules, and collaboration with foremen and project teams. Candidates should be proficient with GPS machine control, grade stakes, lasers, and layouts, and capable of performing routine inspections and light

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy civil construction machinery.
• Ability to follow safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Coordinate with foremen, pipe crews, laborers and other operators.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, dozers, loaders and other equipment to support site development.
• Perform grading, trenching and material handling as required by project specs.
• Maintain safety around utilities, traffic and structures while meeting grade tolerances.
• Conduct pre-use inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Communicate daily progress and site conditions to supervisors.
