Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an entry-level network engineer to support Cisco networking technologies in a fully onsite role in Salina, KS. You will assist in maintaining LAN/WAN infrastructure, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues while collaborating with IT leadership on operational and strategic initiatives.

The role is contract-to-hire with a pay range of $45.00–$65.00 per hour, with benefits eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and perform preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues.
• Configure, install, upgrade, and maintain network hardware and software.
• Participate in network infrastructure projects and technology upgrades.
• Assist with network security initiatives and best practices.
• Maintain network documentation, configurations, and standards.
• Support remote access technologies and connectivity solutions.
• Work with vendors on implementations, upgrades, and issue resolution.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for critical support needs.
