Job summary

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a Catering & Event Operations Partner II to manage setup, service, and breakdown for catering orders and events at Abbott Cancer Diagnostics facilities in Madison, WI. You will ensure cleanliness, organization, safety, and exceptional customer service throughout shifts.

The role, based on site, requires teamwork, strong communication, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with an early shift from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Must hold Serve Safe certification at time of hire or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills including Internet, email, and word processing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with no major violations in the last 36 months.
• No sponsorship requirement to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and break down catering and event needs with decoration and dining area arrangement.
• Transport materials to and from service areas while adhering to health and safety standards.
• Prepare and serve food attractively and interact with customers professionally.
• Address customer concerns promptly and communicate issues to leadership.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain equipment, utensils, and surfaces throughout service.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies for daily operations and events.
• Serve as onsite contact for vendors and verify deliveries and storage.
• Assist with food preparation as needed.
• Ensure adherence to sanitation standards and company policies.
