Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Catering & Event Operations Partner II to join our on-site team in Madison, WI. You will set up, deliver, and breakdown catering orders, ensuring top-notch service and sanitation across events at Abbott Cancer Diagnostics facilities.

You will handle inventory, coordinate with vendors, and support food preparation as needed, with a 1st shift (7am–3:30pm, Mon–Fri). This role requires teamwork, reliability, and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• Must hold Serve Safe certification at time of hire or within 90 days of hire.
• Basic computer skills including Internet navigation, Email usage, and word processing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with no major violations in 36 months.
• No alcohol or drug related violations within 36 months affecting MVR.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and break down catering and event needs per specifications.
• Transport materials to service areas following health and safety standards.
• Prepare and serve food with a positive, courteous demeanor to customers.
• Address customer concerns promptly and communicate issues to leadership.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas throughout service.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies for daily operations and events.
• Serve as onsite vendor liaison, verify deliveries, and store items properly.
• Handle laundry tasks as needed and ensure safe handling.
