Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation is seeking a temporary Medicaid Specialist to support three post-acute centers in Hurricane and Huntington, West Virginia. This on-site role offers the possibility of converting to a full-time permanent position in 2027.

You will handle accounts receivable, billing coordination, and patient trust transactions, while collaborating with the Nursing Home Administrator and Centralized Billing Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Interact with the Nursing Home Administrator, business office colleagues, nursing center staff and the Centralized Billing Office.
• Assist with census, billing, month-end activities, collections, processing of refunds and patient/resident trust fund transactions.
• Complete Medical Assistance application tasks.
• Coordinate patient/resident ancillary charges and enter into billing system.
• Review patient/resident admission files for accuracy.

Responsibilities
