Job summary

ASC Advisors LLC seeks a Camp Director to own Lake Travis summer operations, ensuring ACA/DSHS compliance, safety, and robust camper experiences. You will lead a team of 25–35 seasonal staff, coordinate year-round programming, and partner with HR to recruit and train talent.

The role requires onsite residency during sessions, strong leadership in complex logistics, and the ability to build structured processes while managing budgets and partnerships.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in camp leadership, site operations, youth programming or related field.
• 2+ years of people leadership required.
• Knowledge of camp management systems preferred.
• Ability to establish priorities, develop reports and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain composure and work efficiently under pressure and in changing conditions.
• Ability to acquire and maintain required certifications (Lifeguard Trainer, CPR/First Aid Trainer, Ropes Course Level 1 Facilitator, Archery Certificate, Food Handlers Certificate, Youth Protection).
• Experience leveraging camp management platforms such as CampBrain or similar systems preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Conversational Spanish proficiency (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead Lake Travis camp sessions lifecycle from opening to closing rituals.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and inspire a team of seasonal staff.
• Direct daily operations, facilities upkeep, kitchen services, and safety protocols.
• Drive camper recruitment and engage families, schools, and local partners.
• Use qualitative and quantitative data to elevate programming and training.
• Manage camp budget, inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships.
• Design and deliver CIT program curriculum and mentorship.
