Blue Ridge Automation is seeking a full‑time Instrument Calibration Technician for 100% onsite work at our Indianapolis client site. You will perform routine and non‑routine calibrations in line with GLP/GMP and FDA regulations, maintaining traceable standards and supporting manufacturing and quality teams.

The role requires hands‑on calibration of instruments, documentation, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives. Prior FDA/regulated environment experience is ideal.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in calibration, instrument work, or related roles.
• Minimum 2 years in instrumentation/calibration in regulated or industrial environments.
• Working knowledge of 21 CFR Part 58.63, Part 210, and Part 211.
• Proficient with calibration equipment: multimeters, temperature calibrators, oil/ice baths, pressure gauges.
• Familiarity with Beamex, ProCal, or similar calibration management systems.
• Understanding of Secondary Reference Points and Maximum Permissible Error (MPE).
• Experience with automation systems, PLCs, or control valves.
• Overtime and night shift may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Adjusts/repairs instruments to meet calibration tolerance requirements.
• Set-up standards and lab equipment to test, evaluate, and calibrate instruments.
• Participate in lean initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and cost savings.
• Interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, datasheets, and OEM manuals for calibrations.
• Maintain reference standards with traceability to NIST or national metrology institutes.
• Provide timely calibration support to manufacturing, packaging, quality, and other teams.
• Support GMP/GLP documentation and internal/external audits.
