Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions invites applications for an onsite CAD Designer to support a major initiative involving model-based design in Albuquerque, NM. The role converts engineering concepts into production CAD models and detailed drawings.

Responsibilities include creating 3D models, assemblies, and drawings with CREO, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring designs are manufacturable and traceable in Windchill/PDMLink. A relocation package is available for national candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 3 years CAD experience.
• Experience creating 3D solid models, large assemblies and mechanical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with PTC/CREO, Windchill/PDMLink.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a government background check.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and drawings using CREO/Pro-E.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop and refine mechanical design concepts and drawing packages.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing and suppliers to ensure manufacturability and schedules.
• Manage engineering documentation and revision control in Windchill/PDMLink and other PDM systems.
• Apply GD&T principles to support accurate manufacturing and product development.
