Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an onsite CAD Designer to support a large initiative involving model-based design in Albuquerque, NM. The CAD designer will convert engineering concepts into production CAD models and drawings.

Responsibilities include creating detailed 3D models and drawings with CREO/Pro-E, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring manufacturability with Windchill/PDMLink.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 3 years of CAD experience.
• Experience creating 3D solid models and large assemblies.
• Hands-on experience with CAD tools including AutoCAD, Solidworks, PTC/CREO, Windchill/PDMLink.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a government background check.

• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using CREO/Pro-E
• Partner closely with engineers and researchers to develop, interpret, and refine mechanical design concepts and detailed drawing packages
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing teams, and suppliers to ensure designs are manufacturable, meet project schedules, and align with material and process requirements
• Manage engineering documentation, revision control, and approvals within Windchill/PDMLink and other product data management systems
• Apply GD&T principles and mechanical design best practices to support accurate manufacturing and product development

Qualifications of the CAD Designer Includes:

• High School Diploma + 3 years of experience in CAD
• Experience creating 3D solid models, large assemblies, and mechanical drawings

Compensation of the CAD Designer Includes:

• Compensation range: $80,000 - $100,000 + Relocation Package for national candidates
