Job summary

NextGen RF Design in North Mankato is seeking a Buyer / Supply Chain Specialist to support day-to-day purchasing, inventory readiness, and production coordination in a growing RF manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on learning, with training to cover suppliers, ERP/MRP systems, and compliance while you develop across procurement, planning, and logistics.

This onsite position requires US work authorization and offers health insurance, PTO, and holiday benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage changing priorities.
• Prior experience in purchasing, supply chain, inventory, or manufacturing preferred; electronic component purchasing is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort with ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day purchasing of electronic components, assemblies, and other production materials.
• Create and manage purchase orders and monitor open orders with suppliers.
• Develop supplier relationships and communicate shortages, pricing changes, obsolescence, and supply risks.
• Support sourcing and cost-reduction activities under Supply Chain leadership.
• Monitor material availability and purchasing requirements to identify shortages and long-lead risks.
• Coordinate with Production & Logistics to resolve material-related issues affecting purchasing or production.
