Job summary

Omninet Capital LLC in Ventura, CA is seeking a skilled Building Engineer to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. You will support the engineering department and property management in safety plans and operational standards, ensuring reliable building performance.

Qualifications

Extensive hands-on experience in building operations and maintenance, with minimum of 2 years in a Building Engineering role.
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints; familiarity with energy conservation.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to implement effective solutions.
Respond promptly to emergencies and prioritize urgent repairs.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to maintain operations excellence.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Assist in preventive maintenance planning and energy-saving initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
