Job summary

MANTECH seeks a Budget Analyst to join our Arlington, VA team onsite. You will serve as the financial liaison for a program, monitor day-to-day budget execution, and collaborate with stakeholders across Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution cycles.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience, plus 2+ years in a federal financial system and deep knowledge of budget execution at the document level. Clearance eligibility is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (preferably in a financial or business discipline) or 2 years of additional years of experience.
• 2+ years of experience using a federal financial/accounting system, preferably with updating accounts, records, reports, and controls.
• Solid understanding of the budget execution process at the individual document level.

Responsibilities

• Serve as budget liaison for a program, providing execution support and monitoring day-to-day budget issues.
• Collaborate with budget analysts and stakeholders to prepare review products and budget data.
• Provide analyses and guidance on financial accounting and budget information.
• Use budget systems and automated tools to support execution.
