The candidate will collect data to prepare budget requests, advise on financial transactions, and ensure accurate record keeping while working onsite in Arlington. U.S. citizenship and a Public Trust eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 1 year or more of budget analysis/financial management experience.
• Experience monitoring expenditures to support budget planning and resource allocation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial management or travel systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a Public Trust background investigation.
• Onsite work in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, and analyze data to formulate budget requests and district allocations for annual transportation funding.
• Provide technical advice for financial system transactions for transportation and guard services sections.
• Submit payment requests for air operations flight hours for prisoner transportation.
• Update the Office of Transportation Services SOP annually.
• Track and maintain records of air charter missions.
